About Our Club
Zonta is an international service organization focused on advancing the political, economic, social and educational status of women worldwide. Zontians work throughout the world to address the needs of women at all socio-economic levels. These needs include basic health, education, welfare and human rights. At another level, involvement in Zonta enhances women’s skills to advance in business and the professions as well as enriches their personal lives. There are also opportunities to socialize and network nationally and internationally with business and professional women working in many different fields. Monthly Meetings
Our monthly dinner meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at the beautiful Berkeley City Club Hotel, 2315 Durant Avenue, Berkeley. Social Hour begins at 5:30 p.m. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m., followed by a program and business meeting. Dinner costs $26. All members are asked to RSVP to the club's secretary for each meeting. Guests are welcome, but must contact a current member prior to attending. Limited street parking is available. Parking in the City Club lot is available for $5.00.
Scholarships
In addition to the academic financial assistance available through Zonta International in the areas of science, business, public affairs and government, our club offers opportunities for additional funding for young women in our community.
