Now Accepting Applications for YWPA Scholarship

YWPA APPLICATION – 2012 Zonta encourages young women to participate in public and political life. We are seeking applicants for our Young Women in Public Affairs Awards.
The Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) Award was created to recognize young women for their:
■ Commitment to volunteerism;
■ Volunteer leadership achievements; and,
■ Dedication to the advancement of the status of women.
Since 1990, more than 474 women between the ages of 16 and 20 representing more than 49 countries have been the recipients of these Awards.

What are the requirements?

Applicants must show:

• Evidence of active commitment to volunteerism.
• Evidence of volunteer leadership achievements.
• Evidence of dedication to advancing the status of women worldwide.

How do I apply?

Complete an official application which can be downloaded from the Zonta International website (see link below). All application materials must be received by our Scholarship Committee by March 15, 2012. Please mail all materials to our P.O. Box 5093, Berkeley, California 94705
