Periodically, our club puts on fundraising events to support the community service, scholarship, and advocacy work that we do.

Zonta Berkeley Lunafest a Huge Success!!

On Friday, February 3, 2012 over 100 people gathered at Northbrae Community Church for our first Lunafest Film Festival sponsored by the Zonta Club of Berkeley/North Bay. The event consisted of a reception with snacks and soft drinks along with the presentation of 9 short films. More than $3,000 was raised.

Day at the Races

Each spring, our club holds a fund raiser at Golden Gate Fields. Through raffle ticket sales, this event raises approximately $3000 each year which supports our local scholarships and our service projects in the community.

Usually held on a Sunday in May, Day at the Races includes a delicious buffet lunch in the Turf Club, fabulous raffle prizes donated by local businesses and members, and a special Zonta race where selected members have their picture taken with the race winner.

This event is always a sell out.

Zonta Roadshow and Auction – 2006

On Thursday, October 5, 2006 over 125 people gathered at Clar’s Auction Gallery for the Zonta Road Show and Auction to benefit of The First Place Fund for Youth.

The event consisted of a silent auction, live auction, and roadshow style appraisals of the guests items. As well as wine and appetizers.
