Scholarships

In addition to the academic financial assistance available through Zonta International in the areas of science, business, public affairs and government, our club offers opportunities for additional  funding for young women in our community.

Young Women in Public Affairs

The Zonta Club of Berkeley/North Bay offers a $1,000 award to qualified candidates for Zonta International’s Young Women in Public Affairs scholarship.  We are looking for high school juniors and seniors who have an active commitment to volunteerism, have demonstrated leadership skills, and have shown a dedication to advancing the status of women throughout the world.  Applications are available on-line at www.Zonta.org and should be sent to our Scholarship Chair by March 15 each year.  The club’s address is: P.O.
